FYI, we live in a world full of acronyms, sometimes to the extent where conversations become difficult to understand. Nowhere is this truer than in the world of marketing. Here is an outline of how much acronyms define the world in which we live. I’ve included in brackets the explanations of certain digital marketing acronyms.
A little about me, I live in the UK, my DOB was born in 1988 AD. I work in PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) marketing. Our client list includes both B2B and B2C businesses. I carry out my work on an HP PC. I applied for this job with my CV.
My day involves looking at CTR (Click Through Rate), CPC (Cost Per Click), and CPA (Cost Per Acquisition), these are my KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). I create ads and make sure they all include a good CTA (Call To Action). I use GA (Google Analytics) to help my work. Ultimately, the main aim for our clients is to get the best ROI possible.
When we start working with a new client, we will conduct a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis.
I went on holiday to Paris for a few days the other week, before I left a created an OOO email.
BTW, I had to reject another idea I had for a blog because it was NSFW.
